Andy Van HevelingenThe New ‘Wave in Oil Distillation
or

“Sniffing” Lavender Oil
for a “High-er” Education!

This will be a “hands on” and “full nasal” inhalation of a new oil distillation process using a microwave still developed here in Oregon. This is meant for the small grower who wants to procure an oil sample from their crop for evaluation without costing an arm and a leg to see whether it is a viable product for your farm or product.

The larger grower can use this to sample many different cultivars to judge individual yields and unique oil profiles without having to fire up the big still. It is quick, easy, and produces quality oil! (Samples of various lavender cultivars will be exhibited.)

Ask Andy Anything
(about lavender that is)

We’re fast approaching the end of the conference and your head is swimming with new information, exciting possibilities, and creative ideas. However, there’s room in there for just one more question. This should be a fun-filled hour of insight gleaned from more than forty years growing herbs and lavender.

And, if we’ve done our job providing the proper enticement, Melissa may just chime in with her perspective!
